For the Crust:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter melts.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the shrimp and toss until the cheese melts and coats the shrimp.
- Remove from heat, stir in the chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
