Quick and flavorful shrimp sautéed with garlic, butter, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a fast weeknight meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter melts.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the shrimp and toss until the cheese melts and coats the shrimp.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in the chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
