A simple, high-protein bread made with just cottage cheese and self-rising flour, perfect for a quick, low-effort loaf.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder or herbs for flavor

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese and self-rising flour until a sticky dough forms. Add optional seasonings if using.
  3. Transfer dough to the loaf pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
