For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, and soup mixture in the baking dish. Stir gently to combine.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle over the cheese layer.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
