Description

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, and soup mixture in the baking dish. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle over the cheese layer.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
