For the Crust:
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 ripe avocados, pitted and mashed
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine the mashed avocados with the crumbled feta cheese until smooth.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey and red pepper flakes over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Spread the avocado and feta mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
- Drizzle the hot honey over each crostini just before serving.
