An appetizer to impress — sweet, savory, melty, and golden!


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp fig jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place brie wheel in a small baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey and fig jam. Spread half of the mixture over the top of the brie.
  3. Arrange apple slices around the brie and sprinkle with walnuts and thyme.
  4. Drizzle remaining honey-fig mixture over the apples and walnuts.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until brie is soft and golden. Serve warm with crackers or baguette slices.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
