For the Crust:
- 1 wheel of brie cheese (8 oz)
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp fig jam
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place brie wheel in a small baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix honey and fig jam. Spread half of the mixture over the top of the brie.
- Arrange apple slices around the brie and sprinkle with walnuts and thyme.
- Drizzle remaining honey-fig mixture over the apples and walnuts.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until brie is soft and golden. Serve warm with crackers or baguette slices.
