Description

A warm, gooey baked brie nestled in a bread bowl, topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and fresh thyme for a festive appetizer.

For the Crust:

  • 1 round loaf sourdough bread
  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the top off the sourdough loaf and hollow out the center, leaving a 1-inch border.
  2. Place the brie wheel inside the hollowed bread bowl. Spread cranberry sauce over the brie and sprinkle with thyme leaves.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 25-30 minutes until brie is melted and bread is golden. Serve warm.
