Description

A warm, gooey baked brie topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and crunchy pecans, perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place brie wheel on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small oven-safe dish.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in honey and orange zest.
  3. Score the top of the brie lightly with a knife, then spoon the cranberry sauce over it. Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly on top.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until brie is soft and slightly melted. Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving warm with crackers or baguette slices.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
