For the Crust:
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place brie wheel in a small baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, honey, balsamic vinegar, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens slightly (about 8-10 minutes).
- Pour the cranberry sauce over the brie, sprinkle with pecans, and bake for 12-15 minutes, until cheese is soft and gooey.
- Remove from oven, top with pomegranate seeds, and serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette.
