Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 round loaf sourdough bread (about 8–10 inches in diameter)
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving about a 1-inch thick shell.
- Place the brie wheel inside the hollowed bread bowl. Spread cranberry sauce over the brie, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with thyme and walnuts if using.
- Place the bread lid back on top. Wrap the entire loaf in foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the brie is melted and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
