For the Crust:
- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat cod fillets dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Place cod in the baking dish and pour the butter sauce over the fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
