Description

A light and flaky cod fillet baked to perfection with a zesty lemon-garlic butter sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat cod fillets dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  4. Place cod in the baking dish and pour the butter sauce over the fillets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
