A light and flaky cod fillet baked to perfection with a zesty lemon-garlic butter sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 4 (6 oz) cod fillets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat cod fillets dry and place in a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the butter sauce evenly over the cod fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.
