For the Crust:
- 4 (6 oz) cod fillets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat cod fillets dry and place in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the butter sauce evenly over the cod fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.
