Description

A warm, elegant dessert or appetizer featuring halved pears baked with creamy brie, tart cranberries, and a sweet pistachio honey drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe but firm pears (such as Bosc or Anjou)
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Halve pears lengthwise and scoop out cores with a spoon to create a small well. Place cut-side up on baking sheet.
  3. In each pear half, fill with brie cubes and dried cranberries. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes until pears are tender and brie is melted.
  5. While baking, mix honey and chopped pistachios in a small bowl.
  6. Remove pears from oven, drizzle with pistachio honey, and serve warm.
