For the Crust:
- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries (such as blueberries and raspberries)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
- Brush pears with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
- Scatter berries and walnuts over and around the pears.
- Drizzle honey evenly over the pears and berries.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pears are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with blue cheese, and let cool slightly before serving.
