A sweet and savory dessert featuring tender baked pears topped with fresh berries, crunchy walnuts, a drizzle of honey, and crumbled blue cheese.

For the Crust:

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (such as blueberries and raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  2. Brush pears with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
  3. Scatter berries and walnuts over and around the pears.
  4. Drizzle honey evenly over the pears and berries.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pears are tender and slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with blue cheese, and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
