Description

A sweet and savory baked pear dish with tart cranberries, crunchy walnuts, and creamy blue cheese, all drizzled with honey.

For the Crust:

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cranberries, walnuts, blue cheese, honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Spoon the mixture evenly into the cavity of each pear half.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pears are tender and topping is golden.
  5. Serve warm, drizzled with extra honey if desired.
