- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix cranberries, walnuts, blue cheese, honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt.
- Spoon the mixture evenly into the cavity of each pear half.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pears are tender and topping is golden.
- Serve warm, drizzled with extra honey if desired.
