A sweet and savory baked pear dish featuring creamy feta, honey, and tart cranberries, perfect as an appetizer or light dessert.

For the Crust:

  • 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix feta, cranberries, and black pepper. Spoon mixture into pear cavities.
  3. Drizzle pears with honey and olive oil, then sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pears are tender and feta is lightly golden.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.
