Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, sour cream, and melted chocolate.
  3. Pour half the batter over crust. Spoon half the cherry pie filling over batter. Add remaining batter.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set. Cool completely, then chill for at least 4 hours.
  5. Top with remaining cherry pie filling, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings before serving.
