For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, sour cream, and melted chocolate.
- Pour half the batter over crust. Spoon half the cherry pie filling over batter. Add remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until set. Cool completely, then chill for at least 4 hours.
- Top with remaining cherry pie filling, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings before serving.
