A festive fusion appetizer featuring creamy brie and tart cranberry wrapped in crispy egg roll wrappers, served with a sweet cinnamon honey dip.

For the Crust:

  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz brie cheese, cut into 8 strips
  • 1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, place a strip of brie and a tablespoon of cranberry sauce in the center, sprinkle with rosemary.
  2. Brush edges of wrapper with beaten egg, fold in sides, and roll tightly to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C), fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to make the dip. Serve warm egg rolls with dip.
