For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet. Place brie wheel in the center and arrange pear slices around and on top of the brie.
- Drizzle honey over pears and brie, then sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper. Fold pastry edges over the filling, pleating as needed.
- Brush pastry with egg wash. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
