A festive and elegant appetizer featuring creamy brie wrapped in flaky puff pastry, shaped like a gift box and topped with a decorative pastry bow.

For the Crust:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons apricot jam
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Flaky sea salt for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry into a 12-inch square. Place brie in the center. Spread apricot jam over the top of the brie and sprinkle with thyme.
- Fold the pastry over the brie, trimming excess if needed, and press edges to seal. Flip seam-side down onto the baking sheet.
- Cut thin strips from pastry scraps and arrange on top to form a bow. Brush entire pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with flaky salt.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
