For the Crust:

  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta with marinara sauce, ricotta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Top evenly with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
