For the Crust:
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta with marinara sauce, ricotta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Top evenly with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
