A stunning appetizer featuring creamy burrata cheese topped with sweet strawberries, tangy balsamic glaze, and crunchy pecans, perfect for entertaining.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 large burrata cheese ball (about 8 oz)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1/4 cup pecans, roughly crushed
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves, torn
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Crusty bread or crackers for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place the burrata ball on a serving plate or shallow bowl, gently tearing it open slightly to expose the creamy center.
  2. Arrange the sliced strawberries around and on top of the burrata.
  3. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle crushed pecans and torn basil leaves over the top.
  5. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers on the side.
