A creamy and fresh twist on classic bruschetta, featuring creamy burrata cheese on toasted bread topped with a vibrant tomato and basil mixture.

For the Crust:

  • 1 loaf crusty Italian bread, sliced
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1 ball burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and toast for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Place a spoonful of the tomato mixture on each toasted bread slice. Top with a piece of burrata cheese and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
