For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, melted butter, chili flakes, and salt until crumbly. Press into the baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes until lightly golden.
- While baking, combine honey, brown sugar, and vanilla in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves.
- Remove base from oven, drizzle with honey mixture, and sprinkle with pecans. Bake for another 10 minutes.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
