A delightful twist on classic cream puffs, featuring light choux pastry filled with rich black sesame cream and topped with caramelized bananas for a sweet, nutty, and elegant dessert.

For the Crust:
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons black sesame paste
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour and salt, stirring vigorously until a dough forms. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth. Pipe or spoon dough into mounds on the baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Let cool.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Fold in black sesame paste. Slice cooled puffs and fill with cream.
- Caramelize bananas by cooking slices with granulated sugar in a pan over medium heat until golden. Top puffs with caramelized bananas before serving.
