For the Crust:
- 1 wheel (8 oz) brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut puff pastry into 2-inch squares. Place a brie cube in the center of each square, then fold corners over the brie, pinching to seal.
- Brush each bite with melted butter and drizzle with maple syrup. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until pastry is golden and brie is soft.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine cranberries, honey, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until cranberries are plump and sauce thickens slightly.
- Drizzle cranberry honey sauce over warm brie bites and garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
