Elegant, bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy brie, sweet maple caramelization, and a tangy cranberry honey drizzle.

For the Crust:

  • 1 wheel (8 oz) brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut puff pastry into 2-inch squares. Place a brie cube in the center of each square, then fold corners over the brie, pinching to seal.
  3. Brush each bite with melted butter and drizzle with maple syrup. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until pastry is golden and brie is soft.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine cranberries, honey, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until cranberries are plump and sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Drizzle cranberry honey sauce over warm brie bites and garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
