For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe pears, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add brown sugar, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Add pear slices to the skillet and cook until they are caramelized and tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, caramelized pears, blue cheese, and toasted walnuts.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and toss gently to combine.
  5. Serve immediately.
