A sweet and savory flatbread featuring caramelized pears, creamy feta, and a drizzle of rosemary-infused hot honey.

For the Crust:

  • 1 large pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 oz crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add pear slices and brown sugar, cooking until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Spread caramelized pears evenly over the flatbread. Top with crumbled feta cheese.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden and cheese is slightly melted.
  5. While baking, warm honey, red pepper flakes, and rosemary in a small saucepan over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove rosemary sprig.
  6. Drizzle the rosemary hot honey over the baked flatbread. Season with salt and pepper, slice, and serve.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
