Description

A sweet and savory flatbread featuring caramelized pears, creamy brie, a drizzle of honey, and crunchy toasted walnuts.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread or naan
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add pear slices and cook until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange caramelized pears and brie slices on the flatbread. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crisp.
  4. While baking, toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Remove flatbread from oven, top with toasted walnuts, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with fresh thyme. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
