For the Crust:
- 1 large flatbread or naan
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
- In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add pear slices and cook until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange caramelized pears and brie slices on the flatbread. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crisp.
- While baking, toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove flatbread from oven, top with toasted walnuts, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with fresh thyme. Slice and serve warm.
