Description

A sweet and savory appetizer featuring caramelized red grapes, creamy burrata, and a rich maple-walnut drizzle, finished with a sprinkle of sea salt.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb red seedless grapes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
  • Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss grapes with olive oil and honey, then spread on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes until caramelized and slightly blistered.
  2. While grapes roast, toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant. Stir in maple syrup and cook for 1 minute more, then remove from heat.
  3. Arrange burrata on a serving platter. Top with roasted grapes, drizzle with maple-walnut mixture, and sprinkle with sea salt and fresh thyme.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
