Description

A quick and savory waffle made entirely with cheese, cooked in a waffle iron for a crispy, melty treat. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your waffle iron to medium-high heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, and oregano. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Spoon the cheese mixture onto the preheated waffle iron, spreading it evenly to cover the grids. Close the lid and cook for 4-6 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  4. Carefully remove the cheese waffle from the iron using a spatula. Let it cool for 1-2 minutes before serving. Repeat with any remaining mixture.
