For the Crust:

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente, adding broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cubed chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and pour in heavy cream. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the creamy sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
