For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and cook chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each chicken breast, cover skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  5. Top with crispy bacon and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
