For the Crust:
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 4 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Layer half the tomato slices in the dish. Spread cottage cheese evenly over tomatoes, then sprinkle with minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Top with remaining tomato slices. Drizzle with olive oil, then cover with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden. Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.
