Description

A vibrant and satisfying stir-fry featuring tender chicken, colorful bell peppers, and crispy fries served over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups frozen french fries, baked or fried until crispy
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside. Bake or fry the french fries until crispy and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss chicken strips with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, toss everything together, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Assemble bowls by dividing rice, chicken pepper stir-fry, and crispy fries. Serve immediately.
