Description

A light and fluffy flatbread topped with creamy whipped cottage cheese, crispy spiced chickpeas, and a drizzle of sweet-spicy hot honey.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add Greek yogurt and olive oil, knead into a dough. Roll out into a thin round and bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed and golden.
  2. Toss chickpeas with smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes until crispy.
  3. Blend cottage cheese and lemon juice until smooth and whipped. Spread over baked flatbread.
  4. Top flatbread with crispy chickpeas. Mix honey and chili flakes for hot honey, drizzle over everything. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
