Crispy, caramelized Brussels sprouts with a savory-sweet glaze and crispy bacon, inspired by the popular Longhorn Steakhouse side dish.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and caramelized.
- While sprouts roast, cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss roasted Brussels sprouts with the balsamic glaze and crispy bacon. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
