Description

A warm, comforting flatbread topped with creamy Taleggio cheese, sweet pomegranate seeds, crunchy walnuts, and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 large pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
  • 8 oz Taleggio cheese, rind removed and sliced
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped and toasted
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  2. Arrange Taleggio slices evenly over the flatbread. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are golden.
  4. Remove from oven and top with pomegranate seeds and toasted walnuts. Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
  5. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
