Description

Delicate puff pastry blossoms filled with creamy Brie, tart cranberry sauce, and a drizzle of honey, finished with fresh thyme for an elegant and festive appetizer.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Flour, for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet. Use a round cookie cutter or glass to cut out 12 circles.
  3. Place a small cube of Brie and a teaspoon of cranberry sauce in the center of each pastry circle.
  4. Fold the edges of the pastry up around the filling, pinching to form a rose-like shape. Brush the outside with egg wash.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme before serving.
