Description

Savory and sweet pinwheels featuring a creamy filling of cream cheese, feta, dried cranberries, and fresh herbs, all rolled in flaky puff pastry.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, feta, cranberries, parsley, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pastry.
  4. Tightly roll the pastry from one long side to the other, then slice into 1-inch thick rounds. Place pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
