For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, miso paste, honey, orange zest, and black pepper.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the butter is smooth.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped dried cranberries until evenly distributed throughout the butter.
  4. Transfer the butter mixture to a sheet of parchment paper and shape into a log.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up before serving.
