Flaky puff pastry stars filled with gooey brie, sweet cranberries, and crunchy pistachios—a festive, show-stopping appetizer for any party.

For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz), rind removed and cut into small cubes
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Flour for dusting
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out stars, re-rolling scraps as needed.
- Place half the stars on the baking sheet. Top each with a cube of brie, a few cranberries, and pistachios. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Brush edges of starred bases with egg wash. Place remaining stars on top, pressing edges to seal.
- Brush tops with egg wash. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden and puffed. Serve warm.
