For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle. Spread cranberry sauce evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the cranberry sauce.
- Starting from the long side, tightly roll the pastry into a log. Cut the log in half lengthwise, then twist the two halves together, keeping the cut sides facing up. Form into a circle and pinch the ends together to seal.
- Brush the wreath with beaten egg. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
