Description

A creamy, tangy whipped feta dip topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and a spicy honey drizzle, perfect for holiday gatherings or as a festive appetizer.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Crackers or toasted bread for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a food processor, combine feta, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 8-10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  3. In another small saucepan, warm honey and red pepper flakes over low heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let infuse.
  4. Spread the whipped feta mixture on a serving plate. Top with the cranberry sauce, then drizzle with the hot honey. Garnish with fresh thyme.
  5. Serve immediately with crackers or toasted bread.
