For the Crust:
- 8 oz medium shell pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in beef broth, heavy cream, and cheese. Bring to a simmer and cook until cheese is melted and sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce, mix well, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
