Description

A rich, comforting one-skillet pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy, cheesy garlic butter sauce, ready in under an hour.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add uncooked fettuccine to the skillet, ensuring it’s mostly submerged. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
  4. Stir in shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Return cooked chicken to the skillet, mixing well to coat in the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
