Description

A comforting, indulgent pasta bake featuring tender chicken, crispy bacon, and a creamy ranch-infused sauce, all baked to golden perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving bacon grease in the skillet.
  3. Add cubed chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, ranch dressing, and half of the cheddar cheese until smooth and creamy. Add cooked pasta and bacon, tossing to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
