For the Crust:
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving bacon grease in the skillet.
- Add cubed chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, ranch dressing, and half of the cheddar cheese until smooth and creamy. Add cooked pasta and bacon, tossing to coat evenly.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
