For the Crust:
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions, adding broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli, tossing to coat evenly. Serve hot.
