A comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken and earthy mushrooms in a rich, creamy sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until softened and browned, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and thyme, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until cheese melts and sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, add cooked spaghetti, and toss to coat in the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
