Description

Succulent shrimp cooked in a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce served over fluffy rice.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and cook for another minute. Stir in parsley.
  6. Serve the creamy garlic butter shrimp over cooked rice.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
